Thattukada style Kozhi Varuthathu



Boned Chicken -½ കിലോ ,ചെറിയ കഷണങ്ങള്‍
Ginger garlic paste- 1 ചായ സ്പൂണ്‍
Red chilly powder- ആവശ്യത്തിനു
Coriander powder -2 മേശ സ്പൂണ്‍
Turmeric powder- 1 ചായ സ്പൂണ്‍
Pepper powder- 1 ചായ സ്പൂണ്‍
Garam masala- 1 ചായ സ്പൂണ്‍
Rice flour- 1 ചായ സ്പൂണ്‍
കരിവേപില -ഒരു പിടി
മല്ലിയില -ഒരു പിടി
tomato -വലുതു , ഒന്ന് , ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ജാടക്ക്
Green chilly 5 -6 ചുറ്റുമുള്ള ജാടക്ക്
Lemon juice- ½ നാരങ്ങ
Oil ആവശ്യത്തിനു-വറുക്കാന്‍
Salt -ആവശ്യത്തിനു

Clean and cut the chicken into medium or small pieces

Remove excess water from the pieces using a paper towel(s).

Make 3-4 slits on the chicken and keep aside. Make a marinade with red chilly poder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, rice flour, pepper powder and lemon juice.

Marinate the chicken pieces and set aside for at least 3 hours in the refrigerator.

Heat oil for frying and deep fry the chicken until they attain a reddish to light brown color.

Fry curry leaves , coriander leaves and slitted green chillies in the same oil.

Transfer onto a serving plate and decorate the chicken fry with fried leaves and tomatoes and green chillies..
